Watercolor test last night.
We’re got a watercolor assignment in art, and we’re painting flowers… in general, I very strongly dislike realistic paintings of still life or even portraits. It’s too much like trying to copy a photograph, which is exactly what we are doing in art. The problem is, I have never used watercolors for anything realistic, and as you can see by my test, I still don’t like to. Anyway, I liked how this turned out for the first time watercoloring a face in earnest.
